David Brown and Lauren Brown honored by B.U.M.P.

David Brown and daughter,�Lauren Brown, were selected by vote of the Administrative Council, as�Camphor's adult and youth honoree at the annual Awards and Scholarship Luncheon sponsored by the Black United Methodist Preachers.� The event was held May 26, 2003 at First District Plaza, 38th and Market Street.� Rev. D. Watson Tatem, former pastor of Camphor, �was honored as "Preacher of the Year" by BUMP.� The Co-Chairperson of the program was our current pastor, Rev. Gary Meekins.
